A young wife, Miki, and her husband, Koichi, reunite with Shimotsuka, a former subordinate of Koichi, at a nearby construction site. The next day, Shimotsuka, a construction site security guard who distributes earplugs to neighboring homes as a measure against noise, visits the couple's house as well.
