Father Karlheinz Liebtraut and daughter Elke live together and don't know how to introduce their partners to each other. As a precaution, Mr. Liebtraut rigorously throws out any man who approaches his daughter. Even the subtle hints from neighbor Mrs. Seidenglanz don't help the obtuse father - and he also has his secrets.
