K-Michel Parandi

Michel K. Parandi is an American citizen of Yazidi descent and French origin. He grew up in France and received his education from the Academy of Versailles at Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense. In 2005 he was granted the storyboard award from Jean "Moebius" Giraud in partnership with the city of Paris for "Minuit 14." In 2008 he joined Young & Rubicam in New York City as a junior creative director, primarily focusing on directing animation. From 2010 to 2013 he was mentored by Ben Barenholtz and Hisami Kuroiwa, refining his craft as a screenwriter. From 2014 onward he entered development deals with HBO (Los Angeles) and Square Enix (Tokyo). In 2021 Variety announced that Interplay had tasked him with developing a reboot of the Earthworm Jim franchise.
