Rekha Ramachandran is an interdisciplinary artist, transplanted from Winnipeg to Toronto. Her artwork focuses on the dynamic relationship between body, media, environment, identity, and community. Her photographic, film, and installation work often uses hand-made, analogue, or slow processes that foreground tactile qualities and the gesture of the maker. Rekha holds an MA in Communication and Culture from York University, and a BFA from Toronto Metropolitan University.
