Alonso Llosa

Alonso Llosa

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Alonso Llosa is a writer-director and professor at Emory University’s department of Film and Media. Alonso holds degrees from UCLA and Columbia University. His stories explore themes of displacement and isolation in conversation with the absurd and the tragicomic. More importantly, Alonso loves burgers: thick or smashed, cheesy, and with homemade mayo. He also loves David Lynch, his family, some of his friends and making music of questionable quality in his free time.
