Fernando López Escrivá was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1978. Graduated from ORT II in Audiovisual Media Production, he has been working in television and making documentaries independently. Hotel Gondolín is his third documentary. He previously directed Se están disparando todos and Conquistadores del fin del mundo.
