Alvaro Mancori

Alvaro Mancori was an Italian cinematographer, director, and producer active from the late 1940s through the 1970s. Born in Rome, he began his career as a camera operator and assistant cinematographer, working on films such as Atto di accusa (1950) and Tragic Return (1952). Mancori established himself as a cinematographer with works like The Violent Patriot (1956) and The Moralist (1959). He also ventured into directing with films such as The Double Bed (1965) and Hercules the Invincible (1964). As a producer, Mancori contributed to several projects, including The Tramplers (1965). His work is characterized by its technical proficiency and adaptability across various genres, including peplum, comedy, and adventure films.
