Alireza Kaveh is an Iranian filmmaker, screenwriter, and film theorist known for his work on Three Sisters. He is the author of several books on cinema, including Film Genre: Tone and Ideology and Cinematic Category, where he introduces original theoretical frameworks on genre, tone, and cinematic taxonomy. Kaveh is also active in developing new perspectives on Iranian cinema, audience studies, and the historical emergence of cinematic forms.
