Greta Griniūtė

Greta Griniūtė is a Lithuanian director and screenwriter known for her comedic and character-driven storytelling. Her early studies in physical theater in the UK set the stage for a unique cinematic style that blends humor with empathetic character work. Following a scholarship in Los Angeles, she directed her debut short Tickle My Pickle, which received international recognition, including screenings at LA Shorts and a Best Film award at ARFF Berlin. In 2020, Griniūtė earned an MA in Directing Fiction from Goldsmiths, University of London, where she created Rice & Bread, showcased at the London Short Film Festival and POFF Shorts. Her debut feature, Independent Child, was developed at the Torino Film Lab and Mediterranean Film Lab and is set for production in 2026.
