Bassem Qahar

An Iraqi actor and director, born in Baghdad in 1963. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts, Theater Department, in 1985. His artistic career began in 1986 through theater, where he participated in numerous plays and television series. In 2008, Basim Qahar directed his first play, Arabia, followed by several other plays, including Kahrab and The Drunken Days. Among his most notable TV series are Mulook Al-Tawaif (2005), Mawlana Al-Asheq (2015), Sadeeq Al-Omr (2014), and Al-Dawla Al-Amika (2022).
