Francisco Rojas

Francisco Rojas is an experimental filmmaker born in Coyhaique, Chile, 1993. Besides his own body of work he has works as programmer and artistic director for the non profit Cine Club La Región Central. He has written, in a somewhat informal capacity, articles on film for publications like Desistfilm, La Vida Útil and Chute Film Coop. He graduated from Film School at Universidad Mayor in 2020 and has been making avant-garde/experimental films since then, with special focus on the abstract cinema discipline. His works have been programmed by festivals and galleries such as FICValdivia, Frontera Sur, Pan-Cinema, Wide Open Film Festival and Microscope Gallery.
