Sam Bird

Sam Bird, born on January 9, 1987, in Roehampton, England, is a British racing driver known for his success in endurance racing and Formula E. Bird began his motorsport career in karting and progressed through single-seater ranks, competing in categories like Formula BMW, Formula 3, and GP2, where he showcased his talent with numerous podiums and victories. In 2014, Bird joined the inaugural season of Formula E with Virgin Racing (now Envision Racing), quickly becoming one of the series’ top drivers with multiple race wins. Over his Formula E career, he became the only driver to win a race in every season from 2014 to 2021, demonstrating consistency and skill in electric racing. Beyond Formula E, Bird has competed in endurance racing, including the FIA World Endurance Championship, where he achieved success with Ferrari in the LMP2 and GTE Pro categories, notably winning races such as the 2015 6 Hours of Bahrain.
