Hebun Polat

Hebun Polat was born in Amed in 1992 and has been active in the cinema and TV industry for 10 years. He worked as a cameraman and assistant in many movies and TV series. He is also one of the organizers of the 1st and 2nd Istanbul Kurdish Film Festival. In 2018, he made his first short film “Welatek Hebû” (Eng: There was a Homeland) as a director. He is currently working on the shooting of the 13-episode TV-Series "Pirtûka Efsûnî" (Eng: Magical Books).
