Phillip Breslin, born and raised in North Queensland, Australia, is a filmmaker and educator with a deep passion for the natural world. He believes this passion was influenced by his childhood years spent exploring the beaches and tropical rainforests around Cairns. Holding academic qualifications in wildlife science, education, and land management, Phil has accumulated over a decade of experience in both the entertainment and education sectors. Today, Phil enjoys producing, writing, and presenting engaging natural history content for audiences of all ages. He is the host of the ABC series First Weapons and serves as the creator, executive producer, and host of ABC ME’s Built to Survive. In addition, Phil has hosted NITV’s Lost Diamonds and National Geographic’s international series Wild Survivor. Phil’s unique blend of entertainment and educational expertise adds value to every project he undertakes. His enthusiasm for adventure, science, and cultures, coupled with a deep understanding of the natural world, makes him an ideal candidate for hosting, speaking engagements, and media appearances.
