Mark-Mason Robledo

Mark-Mason Robledo is a freelancer animator, artist and writer who's been making independent short films like "The Light That Shines", "Lost Beyond Within" "2099: A Strange Odd-yssey" and "Epic Eric". Don Hertzfeldt, Aardman Animation and Adam Elliot are some of the biggest influences for Mark in animation style, inspiration and writing. Mark was a finalist for the "Smiley Charity Film Awards" in 2024 for his short film "Reasons, Past and Gained" which was made in collaboration with the non-profit origination "Safe Soulmates" and made social media videos for them. Mark was a nominee at the 2026 Cambridge Short Film Festival with his short film "2099: A Strange Odd-yssey" nominated for "Best UK Film" Mark recently made and animated a suicide prevention policy video for "MIND" showing the steps of how to help people with suicidal thoughts.
