Sean Romero is a student filmmaker from Mapúa University who has worked in various roles such as a director, writer, and producer in different student films. His craft revolves around Queer narratives, human behavior, and melodramatic stylings. Notable for his recent short narrative films Cut/Off and The World We Left, he has been qualified for different film festivals such as Sinepiyu (bagging Best Director and Best Narrative Film), Pelikulaya International Film Festival, Gawad Alternatibo (bagging Special Citation for LGBTQIA+ Narrative Film), and ALT-R Heroes Film Festival (bagging Gawad Balangaw for Best Film Award)
