Wilfrid George Kirby Clarke is a British film director on his path to becoming one of cinema's leading auteurs and foremost experts in the weird and wild side of cinema, which he primarily draws inspiration from. Some of his favourite genres include Italian horror, Hong Kong action, and Japanese yakuza. Kirby Clarke's films frequently feature recurring imagery that fascinates him, often taken from his own dreams. The man generally works within the horror genre, but his films cover a wide range of subjects, and his work is frequently experimental in manner. He is the founder of independent film and music production company Suspicious Sounds Productions, in which he releases his many short films under.
