Malena Medel

Malena Medel is an argentinian director. Born in 1998 in Cordoba, Argentina, she later moved to Buenos Aires in pursuit of animation. There she studied Traditional Animation in Image Campus and Art Direction for Film in ENERC, while collaborating in animated projects for local studios. Her thesis film Entre Piedras (2020) was selected in global festivals and won a Cine.Ar Mention in Anima Latina 2021. Fue Hoy (2024) is her first independent short film, produced by Rudo.Co.
