Thom Sison

Thom Sison (b. 1999) is a filmmaker based in Rizal, Philippines. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Film from the University of the Philippines Film Institute, where he developed a strong interest in producing and editing through his work on various short film projects. His thesis film, When You Were Here Before…, was shortlisted for Best Short Film – Live Action at the 4th Pinoy Rebyu Awards by the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers. He produced Honey, My Love, So Sweet, a coming-of-age short film by JT Trinidad, which won the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) Post-Production Pitch Competition in the United States and was awarded Best Thesis Film for AY 2023–2024. It will also have its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival this August 2025.
