Sarah Hegge-Taylor

Australian director & producer Sarah Hegge-Taylor grew up in the swampy northern town of Brisbane but has spent her adult life down south in Melbourne, where she studied at the Victorian College of the Arts Film and Television School. She likes to make films that feel like mythological poems about internal and external decay. Her latest film, Pulp, premieres at the 2025 Melbourne International Film Festival. She is also a producer on the 2025 feature film Fwends, which won the Caligari Film Prize at the 75th Berlinale, the first Australian film to do so.
