Daniel V. Masciari

Daniel V. Masciari is an award-winning filmmaker who unearths magic in seemingly mundane moments of the human experience. The son of an Italian immigrant, Masciari grew up outside of Boston. Fascinated by film's unique ability to tell stories earnestly and intimately, Masciari began shooting and directing his friends at age eleven using the Canon ZR-100 camera his parents gave him. By twenty-two, Variety selected him as one of 110 students who "represent the future of film, media and entertainment." By twenty-four, he had already edited his first feature film, which was profiled in Filmmaker Magazine. His debut feature film Stationed At Home premiered internationally at the Glasgow Film Festival in March 2025.
