Mateus Velter

Brazilian filmmaker Mateus Velter works as a director, screenwriter, editor, producer, and occasional actor. He is the founder of Blue Velter, an independent film production company. ​Mateus gained major recognition with A Prisão, which remains his most-watched short film. Following this success, he co-founded Curta com Nóix, an independent company dedicated to producing and screening short films within the high school community.
