Sacha Fontaine

Sacha Fontaine

The director studied film before entering his current field, political science. His projects address slowness and waiting, both in terms of subject matter and cinematic treatment. Going against the grain of the fast-paced world, he wants to create the space—often lacking—to reconnect with oneself and others. Documentary is his preferred medium, in the hope that by portraying certain individuals in all their complexity, we will collectively accord each other the same attention.
