Tate Cozza

Tate Cozza is an independent filmmaker, actor, and hairstylist based in Hudson, New York. With a passion for practical horror, dark comedy, and grindhouse-inspired storytelling, he creates films that blend over-the-top gore with a fun, DIY spirit. His growing catalog of independent shorts includes Barbershop of the Damned, Bread of the Dead, The Forgotten Crate, Christmas Guts, and Tofurkey, with his work screening at horror and genre film festivals in the United States and internationally. When he’s not making movies, Tate owns and operates Mane Street Hairstyles, the family-owned salon founded by his father in 1981. Whether behind the camera, in front of it, or creating special effects on a shoestring budget, he enjoys bringing outrageous ideas to life and celebrating independent filmmaking.
