Johnny Angel Villegas

Johnny Angel Villegas is a filmmaker, producer, and storyteller from the Tampa Bay area. The youngest of four children and the son of immigrant parents, Johnny grew up seeing movies as more than entertainment. They were opportunities to experience new worlds, connect with his family, and discover the kinds of heroes he wanted to create for others. Johnny earned his bachelor’s degree in film production from Southeastern University and a Master of fine arts (M.F.A) in Production with a specialization in Producing at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts. His work spans musicals, romantic dramas, dark comedies, and action thrillers.
