Mauricio Vargas Escobar

Mauricio began his filmmaking journey with "De allá lo aprendí" (2015), an introspective short film about his grandfather's youth. He later had significant success with the comedy "Todo por Olivia" (2019), which won numerous awards at his school's film competition, demonstrating his skill in blending humor with serious storytelling. His most recent production, "Reflejos del Tiempo" (2025), participated at the Festival de Cortometrajes de Multicine, showcasing his evolving artistry, especially in scriptwriting.
