Aísha Sánchez

Aísha Sánchez is a Bolivian teenager with a deep love for movies and storytelling. Ever since she can remember, she has been fascinated by cinema, not just as a viewer but as someone who wants to bring stories to life. At 15, she has already explored filmmaking through school projects, with her short films Sithner’s D-Zire and What Christmas Left Behind receiving recognition, winning nearly seven first-place awards in categories like production, editing, acting, and music choices. While these experiences have been exciting, she sees them as just the beginning of a long journey in storytelling. Outside of film, she spends her time playing in a rock band, watching and analyzing movies, learning about web design and informatics, and writing new stories—some of which she hopes to turn into future films. For her, creativity isn’t just a hobby but a way of understanding the world and expressing herself.
