Maria Ramendik

Maria Ramendik (Zhitkova) is a film director and creative producer. Before transitioning to filmmaking, she led global marketing campaigns in the technology sector. She is best known for her 2024 short film Back to School, featuring popular influencers and currently available on a major streaming platform. Her most recent short film, Push-kin, received a Special Jury Mention at AIFF, further establishing her as a bold new voice in contemporary cinema. Her directorial debut, the web series Hype (2021), was officially selected by five international film festivals and has been referenced in academic research on vertical cinematography.
