Yosuke Okawado

Born in 1961. In 1983, graduated from the Department of Economics at Nihon University. While in school, he started his artistic career with his friend Mitsuyoshi Inou.He is known for his many diary-like films, and his unique style, in which he gazes at his subjects in an indifferent manner, expresses the aesthetics and impermanence of the moments of daily life, and his style has been called “the insect’s eyes” or “eternal cinema. And presented his films in personal film screenings such as HAIRO, LA CAMERA, View Festival, etc. His films include: I’ll shoot it[撮るのは俺だ](1983), The Andante of Dreams [夢のアンダンテ](1987), REFLECTIONS OF WOMEN[恋の姿見](1987).
