Barry Mitchell

Barry has worked in the film and television industry since 1985, initially as a film-maker and production manager. He also worked as a freelance writer and script editor for feature, documentary and short films, and was a script assessor for the South Australian Film Corporation, Australian Film Commission and NSWFTO. He worked at the South Australian Film Corporation as Manager, Industry Programs from 1995 to 1998, where he was responsible for management of all of SAFC's development, production and screen culture programs. From 1999 to 2013 he worked at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as Commissioning Editor, Executive Producer and Head of Production for Australia Network.
