Aditya Prakash Maharana

Aditya Prakash Maharana is a filmmaker and film student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Video Communication at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Originally from Odisha, his work is shaped by personal memories, youth culture, and everyday social environments. Through fiction and observational storytelling, he is interested in exploring human behavior, regional identity, and the quiet tensions hidden within ordinary moments. His films often focus on small interactions, awkward silences, and spaces that slowly reveal larger social dynamics. Drawing from lived experiences and contemporary urban life, Aditya’s approach combines realism, humor, and discomfort to create intimate yet socially rooted narratives.
