Sheryar Ali

Sheryar Ali is a director, writer, and editor working across Pakistan, the UK, and the UAE. A graduate of the National College of Arts with distinction, his most notable work is the 2024 film Bach Malanga. His recent shorts have garnered international acclaim, including A Door to My Memory (Tasveer Film Festival/Oscar-qualifying) and Toxicity (Best Short, Peshawar International Film Festival). He is also a prolific editor and creative producer, winning Best Director, Editing, and Cinematography at the Alpine International Film Festival for Couch Connection (2025). Alongside his independent narrative work, he has directed second-unit for international feature films, high-volume web series, and music videos with millions of views.
