Shu Yawang's happy life with her childhood friend Tang Xiaotian and neighbor Xia Mu is shattered when Tang Xiaotian's senior, Qu Weiran, violates her out of possessiveness. This forces Shu Yawang to break up with Tang Xiaotian and leads to a tragic incident where Xia Mu accidentally injures Qu Weiran.
