Guest writing credits include DANGEROUS LIAISONS S2, (Playground, Lionsgate/Starz), RED ROSE, (Eleven Film/BBC), CHLOE (Mam Tor/BBC). Development commissions include: original crime drama DEVIL’S POINT (Mam Tor Productions/BBC); McMAFIA S2 (Cuba/Firebird/BBC/AMC);adaptation of THREE, book by Dror Mishani (Wonderhood/Keshet/HBO); adaptation of COME AGAIN, book by Robert Webb (Firebird); adaptation of The Cutting Room, book by Louise Welsh (Atalya/Endor Productions). Film: In 2013 Poppy’s first feature, THE FOLD, starring Catherine McCormack and Dakota Blue Richards won best screenplay at the Women’s Independent Festival in LA, Best Picture at the Independent Film Makers Showcase and was nominated for best drama at the National Film Awards. After graduating from Edinburgh University with an MA in English Literature, Poppy’s first script OLYMPIA won the William Morris/Harpers Bazaar Short Script Competition.
