Nikos Tzogias

Nikos Tzogias (Greek: Νίκος Τζόγιας, 8 July 1921 – 1 March 1996) was a Greek film actor. He appeared in 26 films between 1949 and 1987. He was born in Athens on July 8, 1921 and graduated with honors from the Drama School of the National Theatre. He had also attended courses at the Panteion School of Political Sciences and the School of Fine Arts. He worked mainly at the National Theatre from 1944-1946 as well as in independent theatre with the troupe of G. Mousouris, Koun, Logothetides - Katerinas (1947-1957) and in his own troupe Hatziargyris-Tzogias (1955). In 1957 he joined the staff of the National Theatre and starred in many works of the classical and contemporary repertoire.
