Ed Formica

Ed Formica is an American actor from Philadelphia, PA a city that has produced talents such as Sylvester Stallone, Grace Kelly, Will Smith, Seth Green, and Bradley Cooper. After a successful business career, a friend encouraged Ed to try acting as an extra on Barry Levinson’s film Alto Knights, starring Robert De Niro. Originally cast as an extra (Judge Bentley Morris), he was promoted to a principal performer and became eligible to join SAG-AFTRA. Alto Knights opened the door to new opportunities. Ed appeared as a prisoner in Sam Hunt’s "Locked Up" music video and as a featured actor in Brothers Osborne’s "Nobody’s Nobody." He’s been offered several commercial roles and has expanded into other areas of film and entertainment, working both on-screen and behind the scenes to broaden his skills and industry knowledge. As a private investor and producer, Ed’s company, 4Mica Entertainment, served as Executive Producer with RNR Media, Rossetti Productions, and on Renegade: The Series in 2024. Through 4Mica Publishing LLC (children’s books and music production), he signed with Fulton Books and released his first children’s book, Mr. Tigglesworth’s Funny Bunnies, in late 2025; he regularly visits schools to read the book and share the characters’ adventures. Based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, Ed continues refining his craft, building industry relationships, and working with the support of family and friends. He is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
