Norman Maurer

Norman Maurer was an American comic book artist, writer, director, and producer best known for his association with The Three Stooges comedy team. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career in the comic book industry, producing two Three Stooges comic book issues in 1949. Maurer married Joan Howard, daughter of Moe Howard of The Three Stooges, in 1947. He directed and produced several films and television shows featuring the comedy team, including The Three Stooges Go Around the World in a Daze (1963) and Kook's Tour (1970). Maurer's work significantly contributed to the legacy of The Three Stooges, blending his talents in both comics and film.
